This is a DIY Paint Kit (that you paint and assemble yourself). This super cute sitting reindeer has Christmas lights wrapped around his antlers that you place yourself. This is a layered wood paint kit. A majority of the details are separate wood pieces making it easy to paint (such as the lightbulbs, nose, front hooves, scarf, head), BUT there are details that require a thin brush or paint pen like eyes, eyebrows, mouth, shadowing on hooves and ears and anywhere you want to add the white highlight lines.
Special note: There ARE lines to follow to help trace areas like the eyes, eyebrows, front legs, black lines in ears, and shadowing details in hooves. BUT there are not lines to follow around the edges where I have put the extra white and black lines and dots... those are extra details that is left up to each artist/painter.
DETAILS ABOUT THIS KIT:
The unfinished wood pieces are cut from high quality 1/4” Baltic Birch
There will be laser char marks on your piece. There is no need to sand it off, the paint will cover it.
Finished size is approximately 10.4" tall by 9.4" wide
With the help of the tail in back, there are approximately 5 layers of 1/4" wood to help this reindeer sit on it's own without a stand or needing to lean against something.
You can choose “No paint” or “paint included” option
The “Paint included” option will include the unfinished wood pieces plus 1 chip brush, 2 small detail brushes, sandpaper, thin string, paint colors: brown, grey, black, red, blue, yellow, green, orange and white, and wood glue.
The "no paint included" option will include only the unfinished wood pieces and string.
Paint pens (black and white) were used in my example photos but unfortunately due to supply I am not able to include with kit. Walmart, Target, Amazon, Michael's and many other craft stores carry them. I suggest a thin/fine to medium tip (NOT thick or extra fine).
Please be aware that wood naturally has defects. Not every board is the same. There may be knots, wood grain and natural imperfections in your wood.
Additional Disclaimers:
Please be advised all pieces are cut and engraved by a laser so they may have a slight burnt smell at first which will go away, and they also have browned edges due to being cut by a laser.
