'I Love U' Photo Frame Paint Kit | Home Décor | Kids Craft Project Gift
My kids (ages 2 & 4) bring home A LOT of special pieces of artwork from daycare, but it's the ones that have their handprint, footprint, photo, or handwriting that I tend to keep. Well, this DIY project has both photo AND handwriting features!
Perfect for Birthdays, Mother's Day, Grandparent's Day, Valentine's Day, or just because!
Here are several things that makes this project special:
Two layers of unfinished wood to paint. Kids can be super messy, but as long as you use different colors on each layer it will look good once assembled. No need to stay inside of any lines!
It's a photo frame!
Opening is approximately 4"x4" so typically a trimmed down 4x6 photo will work best. Typically shouldn't matter if original photo was taken in portrait or landscape mode as long as it's printed as a 4x6 it should work.
Top whiteboard piece allows child to trace the message "I Love U" over the faint engraved dotted letters. This is GREAT for kids just learning how to write! Or you can order it without the engraving for the older children to write their own message.
For the top whiteboard piece I suggest using a fine tip permanent marker to write message so it lasts. If a mistake is made, you can immediately clean it off using a cleaner like LA's Totally Awesome (found at most dollar stores) or something similar.
A small stand is included.
When you are done painting and writing message you simply glue together, tape a photo to the back, and display!
WHEN ORDERING: Again, you can order with or without the 'I Love U' message engraved onto the whiteboard layer. And you can order with or without paint, glue & painting supplies.
"With Paint" kit includes: Red & black paint, wood glue, small paint brush, makeup sponge & sandpaper.
